update
shifting focus
Sorry for the unexplained absence; I’ve been a little busier and consequently more worn out than usual the past few weeks, and sitting down to do work on this stuff has felt more like a chore than an exciting project. I still work on it occasionally, but rarely in presentable chunks, and trying to keep to a regular schedule feels less and less like a reasonable possibility. I’ll keep working on this language, but updates on it (and finished texts) will be irregular and probably few and far between.
Separately, I may start posting about other magical projects—something I always intended to do with this substack but never got around to. My main thing that could probably lead to stuff worth sharing right now is the dream recall work I am doing; I am going to compile notes on that stuff and make ~weekly posts, starting with one later today. Anyone currently subscribed to my substack will be subscribed to the language notes section (that now exists) by default, but if you want to opt into the dreamwork section (“dremes”) I think you have to do that separately (not sure how). Didn’t want to drop it on people without the chance to opt out. New subscribers will (I think) be able to check which sections they want to subscribe to.
